BYTEFOX TASKS SYNC
Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Bytefox Tasks Sync is a personal automation operated by Maksim Rososhanskii for himself and his spouse. Personal lists and shared tasks are active; recurring payments are still being tested. It is not offered as a public or commercial service, and this website does not provide registration.
Authorised use
Use is limited to the owner and his spouse, each authorising their own Google account and the Craft spaces they have permission to use. Authorisation must be voluntary. You remain responsible for your accounts and the content you choose to synchronise.
Synchronisation and limitations
The automation reads and modifies tasks across Craft and Google Tasks. Changes can propagate between services, and shared-space tasks can be visible to both participants. Dates are synchronised as calendar days; time of day may be lost when a date is changed. Google notes are copied on first creation in Craft, but later notes edits are not mirrored. Google manages repeating tasks; Craft stores individual instances. Conflicting changes to the same field are retained for resolution. Automatic deletion is enabled for verified deletions of supported tasks and containers.
There is no guarantee of uninterrupted operation, exact timing, or error-free synchronisation. API limits, changes in third-party services, network failures, and workflow errors can cause delays, duplicates, conflicting changes, or lost updates. Keep an independent copy of important information and review results.
Control and discontinuation
You may stop using the automation at any time and revoke its Google access. The owner may pause, change, or discontinue it. Revoking access stops access to Google Tasks; it does not automatically delete tasks already held by Google or Craft.
Data handling
The Privacy Policy describes data access, storage, third-party transfers, backup retention, and deletion requests. Google and Craft remain separate services governed by their own terms.
Changes and contact
These terms may change as the automation develops. Material changes to its purpose or data use will be reflected on these pages before the changed workflows are enabled.
